About
STARTER LOCS
Hi there!!!
The first Loc phase are the baby locs. After the initial stage, the baby locs will form themselves thick.
Make sure to maintain the baby locs with frequent, 2-3 weeks of re-twist. Avoid washing the baby locs dreadlocks during 7 weeks to keep them from unraveling from water.
MID - STAGE LOCS (10 MONTHS)
In this stage, it shows budding and develop thick matting of mature locs. Mid - stage locs can sometimes merge into tough tough dreadlocks, so be sure to carefully pull them apart. Locs at this stage should be frequently washed gently after 2 to 3 weeks.
MATURE LOCS (10-24 MONTHS)
Depending on the hair texture, dreadlocks should be expected to reach maturity after the first year but it also can take after 2 years. Eventually will continue to grow and the growth roots will be re-twisted in order to intergrate the frizz into your locs. Matured locs are strong and require very little grooming.
